Apartment Lazar

The request was to design an apartment for rental purposes with two bedrooms and a finely
defined style. We were asked to mix the typical Hungarian classical style with modern minimalistic
furniture. The building itself was designed in a late art deco style that we included in the interior
by using the original patterns on some of the built-in furniture and in the structural items too. Our
idea was to create a classical surrounding and put more contemporary and clear items into it on
the contrary. The layout of the apartment is a bit complicated in the details but every little piece
has a purpose to make symmetrical and grandiose spaces. The dining and living room has a huge
art deco door connection, which can be opened and used together if needed. The master bedroom
includes a hidden wardrobe system that also serves as an entrance to its bathroom. The decoration
and styling such as the lighting are selected by the client's personnel.
